Terrifier - Art the Clown

     Art the Clown aka Terrifier is a slasher/horror creation in the guise of a clown. I watched the first of the three films and found myself having flashbacks to the classic 1978 film “Halloween”, the only difference being that the Terrifier is a seemingly indestructible demon. The acting was actually pretty good but the plot was a been there done that kinda situation with the mindless slaughter of the innocent.

     In any case, I purchased the resin kit on eBay for a client who had asked me to assemble and paint it for him. The figure a good size coming in at 11 inches tall (though a less expensive and smaller version is available) and the quality of the parts was outstanding. As far as the paint job was concerned, I had to access the internet to get an idea how to paint him which was fairly simple in appearance with an alternating black and white sections of his clown costume. Extra hands were provided so I had a choice of weapons and poses to a certain degree. I decided to go with him holding a large knife in his right hand and a nail studded club behind his back with the left. The round base had wood details cast into its surface and mounting holes for his clown shoes.
